Q1 - WHY JOIN IAFEI?

It may be summarized in a word : networking. IAFEI was founded in 1969 as a non-profit and non-political association.

IAFEI aims at:

  • building and improving mutual understanding internationally among financial executives
  • providing a basis for international cooperation towards making financial systems and regulations more effective and more uniform worldwide
  • promoting ethical considerations in the practice of financial mamangement throughout the world.

IAFEI has grown over the years along these guidelines and to date it includes 18 countries with more than 12,000 financial executives. Taking full advantage of the network calls for playing an active role in the various events, meetings and other programs of the Association.

Aside from the offering a privileged outlook on the situation and trends of the world financial community, IAFEI periodically provide Member Institutes with different materials such as:

  1. Publications

The IAFEI Quarterly, delving on current issues affecting financial executives worldwide, is electronically published every quarter. This features articles of specific interest written by experts of the Association and those already published worth sharing with all Member Institutes.

Upon request, copies of all kinds of studies, researches and documentation from the other Institutes around the world may be secured.

  1. Activities of the Association:

A schedule of IAFEI activities for the year, such as the regional and global conferences and important meetings.

  1. Directory
  • Annually, a directory of Officers and Members of the Advisory Council is available.
  • Secretariat assistance may be sought to secure information to get in touch with all colleagues active in the Association. The IAFEI Secretariat data base (containing names and addresses of the people who have actively served for IAFEI for the last 15 years and all information relative to international congresses and conferences) is available upon request.
