TOUR OF THE OLD CITY OF INTRAMUROS, MANILA

After the congress, the foreign delegates were brought to the old city of Intramuros, Manila, also called the Walled City because of the defensive walls built around it. The group went around Fort Santiago, the defense fortress where the Philippine National Hero, Jose Rizal was imprisoned before he was executed.

In the evening, the group had dinner at Barbara’s, a restaurant inside Intramuros, where they served a buffet of Filipino dishes and desserts. A cultural show featuring music and dances of the Philippines entertained guests after dinner.

Some delegates opted to join the Bohol tour the following day to enjoy the beauty of the countryside in the Philippines.

The 44th IAFEI World Congress was truly a big success. FINEX and the organizing committee have worked very hard and have proven that truly it’s MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!
