Nominating Committee Members

In charge of the nomination process for the election of the new officers, it assists the Executive Committee in defining the candidacies to be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.

Roberto Rovera - Italy

Roberto Rovera, 60, married to Rita Ghibaudo, holds a degree in Economic and Business from the University of Turin as well as an Executive MBA at INSEAD (France) and is a CPA.
He began his career with STET, the holding company of telecommunications in Italy that controlled the telco operators and also several electronic manufacturing companies. He has been in the telecommunication sector for all his professional life, and precisely in the Telecom Italia Group, working in different subsidiaries and getting growing responsibilities in strategy, planning and control.
At the end of 1995 he was appointed Vice-President for European and International affairs thus broadening his international experience. He lived in Bruxelles (Belgium) for three years. Then was appointed CEO and managing director of STET-Hellas mobile operator in Greece.
At the beginning of 2001 he was appointed CEO of SIELTE, a company operating as a system integrator in the field of ICT installation and services.
At present he's partner of a company in the high-tech services field and also works as business advisor.
He has previously served as IAFEI Chairman for the years 2003/2004 and as Chairman of the IAFEI Planning Committee.
