CFO Meetings
Various regular meetings and forums are organized to address key issues and timely appropriate topics facing CFOs and to provide networking opportunities among members, who are mainly CFOs, financial executives, treasurers, controllers and CEOs.

Publications
To supply the knowledge and information related to CFOs, KCFO publishes information relevant to CFOs on topics like management strategy, accounting, treasury, risk management, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), internal control, etc. Research papers are submitted to the government for the necessary legislation and policy guide.

The Annual Best CFO Award
To highlight the importance of the role and responsibility of CFOs, KCFO organizes ‘CFO Award Judging Committee’ which screens CFOs from 1,700 listed and non-listed companies which have sales volume of at least KRW 500 billion and profit of KRW 50 billion. The 5 winners of the CFOs of the Year are announced every November and KCFO hosts the Annual CFO Awards Ceremony in December.
Certifications
Certified Treasury Professionals
KCFO has exclusive licensing agreement for CTP (Certified Treasury Professionals) exam in Korea with AFP of USA. The CTP candidates in Korea are the treasury or finance personnel from top ranked blue chip companies in Korea like Korea Telecom, POSCO, LG Electronics, Shinhan Bank, Goodmorning Securities Co., and certified public accountants (CPAs) of accounting firms.
Local Treasury Professionals
Beginning 2008 KCFO certifies local treasury professionals. KCFO has partnership agreement with Webcash, the top treasury consulting firm in Korea for the publication of local treasury textbooks and the management of local treasury professional online exams.
Extensible Business Reporting Language
KCFO played the key role in accelerating the use of XBRL (Extensible Business Reporting Language) and prepared XBRL accounting taxonomy according to Korean GAAP as XBRL Korea Jurisdiction. Since October 2002, KCFO has been designated as an ‘XBRL Korea Jurisdiction’ from ‘XBRL International’ in US.
