ACTIVITIES

National Activities:

On June 20th the Bolivian Financial Executives Institute carried out a ceremonial meeting to make a special distinction to Mr. Luis Nuñez Ribera, President of the Cámara Agropecuaria Del Oriente (CAO), due to his outstanding resources management in times when the stockbreeding sector faces serious financial deficiencies.

IBOEF President, Mr. Francisco Pinto, CPA/MBA, offered a seminar: “Enterprise Management, Humanism and Technology”, collaborated by the Managers & Economists Society of Santa Cruz, on the July 20th and 21st at the Commerce and Industrial Chamber of Santa Cruz.

International Activities:

IBOEF had the honor of hosting Mr. Carlos Mallo - Dean of the Economics Department at Carlos III University in Madrid, Spain, and co-author with Robert Kaplan, of the book “Costs Accounting and Strategic Management” - and Antonio Garrido Lestache, IAFEI Europe Area President and Chairman of the IAFEI EU-Mercosur Committee, who made a presentation of IAFEI activities.

Presentations of his new book and of a Seminar destined to individuals in charge of setting up the accounting books for such companies took place from August 10th through 12th. The seminar was held at the Commerce and Industrial Chamber of Santa Cruz Auditorium, and it had the support from the Society of Financial Auditors of Santa Cruz, and the Freedom & Democracy Foundation.
