Working Together

40 YEARS AS THE REFERENCE ASSOCIATION FOR FINANCE EXECUTIVES IN BOTH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPHERES
Created in 1964, DFCG is an association of professionals, of whom 85% are CFO’s, finance executives, controllers in private or public organizations. Members also include other finance and accounting experts and academics, consultants in management, finance and information systems, as well as young professionals destined to become leaders in the profession. From the beginning, DFCG has maintained an international outlook. As a founder of the
international association of finance executives institutes (IAFEI), DFCG remains one of the most active associations. DFCG’s dynamic International Group organizes international exchanges and leverages the international experience of members.

DIVERSITY FOR ENRICHMENT
DFCG has some 3,000 members working in every economic and geographical sector across France, and within the full range of organization sizes from major multinational conglomerates (MNCs) and public sector organizations, to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the latter of which are represented by a large proportion of the DFCG membership, consistent with the economic composition of France. The significant diversity and size of DFCG’s membership
combine to provide a unique platform for exchange and enrichment through experience sharing. its Administrative and Financial Executives or Management-Finance Directors are in leading SMEs. This diversity is a formidable means of enrichment and experience sharing in discussions.

Exchanging

Every business day of the year, at least one DFCG event is held somewhere in France. Events include topical seminars and debates with experts, as well as larger annual congresses such as Financium (more below), Progiforum highlighting the latest financial systems and processes, and Les Assises des Services Publics, a large government services congress devoted to issues within the public sector.

FINANCIUM
The must-go-to event in December each year, DFCG’s Financium congress provides finance executives with state-of-the-art insights from leading experts. Comprehensive in scope, encompassing all relevant business areas and centers of interest Financium brings in-depth knowledge through a combination of
conferences, panel discussions, testimonials, networking events and a large complementary trade fair. Speakers include CEO’s, CFO’s, managing directors, finance executives, management controllers, as well as experts in information and communications technologies, auditors and accountants, lawyers, and leading consultants.
